1. Introduction

NCISM RSBK PG Notes ("the App") is an educational tool developed by the Department of Rasashastra & Bhaishajya Kalpana, SDM College of Ayurveda & Hospital, Hassan, for MD Ayurveda PG scholars following the NCISM AYPG-RB curriculum. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles information.

2. Data We Do Not Collect

The App does not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information (PII). We do not collect:

• Names, email addresses, or contact details
• Device identifiers or advertising IDs
• Location data
• Financial or payment information
• Health or biometric data
• Photos, audio, or video
• Usage analytics or crash reports sent to us

3. On-Device Storage Only

The App stores the following data exclusively on your device using Android DataStore. This data never leaves your device to our servers:

• Anthropic API Key (optional): If you choose to enter a personal API key, it is stored securely on your device only. The institution's default key is embedded in the app and is used when no personal key is provided.
• Saved Notes: Notes you save are stored locally on your device. They are not backed up or synced to any server.

4. AI Note Generation

When you tap "Generate Notes," the App sends a structured academic prompt to the Anthropic API (anthropic.com) consisting of:

• The selected NCISM curriculum module and unit (fixed syllabus content)
• The chosen note format and level
• Any optional "additional focus" text you type

This information is processed by Anthropic's servers to generate academic notes. Please refer to Anthropic's Privacy Policy for how they handle API request data. The App developer does not receive or store any of this information on its own servers.

5. No Third-Party Advertising

The App contains no advertisements and does not use any advertising SDKs or tracking technologies.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for postgraduate medical students (adults). It is not directed at children under 13.

7. Changes to This Policy

If we update this Privacy Policy, the updated version will be made available at this URL. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of any changes.
